Yemen
Houthi Rebels in Yemen have fired drones and missiles at oil facilities and military sites in Saudi Arabia. According to Saudi Arabia, no causalities or property damages were caused as a result of the attack. Yemen’s Houthi Rebels have been intensifying their attacks on Saudi Arabia and have been making substantial ground in Yemen’s most important regions. Both sides have been called upon to cease fire yet both sides are attempting to walk into the negotiation table with the higher ground. Saudi Arabia has lessened the oil outputs already, a move that is likely to increase oil prices.
Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea’s was hit with four explosions on Sunday killing at least 20 people and injuring more than 400. The cause of the blasts remains unknown. The country of $1.4M has a largely impoverished nation even though the nation has high oil reserves.
Paraguay
Hundreds of protests have been taking to the streets in multiple cities in Paraguay over the handling of Covid19 in the country. President Mario Abdo Benitez is expected to announce changes to his cabinet. Clashes broke out between evening between protesters and police in the capital, Asuncion. Tear gas and stones were used in protests by police and rioters.
