Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cancelled his trip to the United Arabs of Emirates due to an issue with Jordan’s Airspace. There seems to be an issue with Israel’s clearance of flying over the Kingdom. The PM was forced to postpone the trip, although a future date was not set. The meeting between Israel and UAE is to showcase the “normalization” of relations that have began to take effect under President Trump. Morocco, Bahrain and UAE became the first nations in 2020 since Jordan in 1994 and Egypt in 1979 to sign any declaration of peace or normalization process recognizing. This comes on the heel of Israeli Prime Minister’s upcoming court date regarding allegation of corruption.
US
Joe Biden officially signs the Covid19 bill in to law after the US house voted on it. The bill will include $1.9Trillion of which $1400 payment are set to go out to families. This is the 3rd stimulus payment since the beginning of the pandemic going out to families; but is the largest amount being sent so far to Americans. The President is set to make an announcement soon that all adults can be vaccinated starting May 1st.
Myanmar
Seven additional deaths come as Myanmar’s military government accuses deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi of taking bribes. The military has been ramping up attacks as more and more protestors are taking tp the streets. Meanwhile, the International community is calling on the Military end the violence. One of the Military Spokesman said that the goal is to bring stability to the nation, and then hold honest and fair election within the year.
