UK

Britain’s exports to Europe fell in January by 41% due to the recent break up of the UK and European Union. Companies are learning to deal with new terms of trade but many are finding themselves stuck in the middle of a complicated process. This is the largest decline of exported goods in the nation since 1997. Many businesses are either relocating their companies to other European nations, or asking the government for help in dealing with the Brexit hit. UK’s deadline for figuring out a solution was this month, but Prime Minister Boris Johnson extended the existing law until October for most industries. Farmers, Fishermen and the cattle herders have been hit the hardest.

Nigeria

30 more students have been abducted in Nigeria. This is the 4th student abduction since December by men who still have not released an agenda or a group that they work for. Most of these kidnappings have resulted in the return of the victims without incident. The government has been attempting to crack down on these abductions, but nothing has been done yet to curb those issues.
