Yemeni Rebels have attacked the Saudi Arabian oil refinery. Houthi rebels launched six drones towards the Aramco buildings in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia said the attacks, which targeted one of the world’s largest oil refineries, is going to effect the energy supply of the entire world. Reports of fire in the facilities from multiple sources are said to not have caused casualties, according to Saudi Arabian spokesman.

Afghanistan

The Taliban said that a government in Afghanistan needs to turn in to an Islamic rule. What that means for the US withdrawal is not yet clear but that could complicate the peace talks between the Afghani government, the US and the Taliban. May 1st was supposed to be the deadline of when the NATO and US is supposed to leave the nation in accordance with an agreement made during the Trump administration. Biden said that it might have to reassess the agreement because May 1st will be very challenging. This Taliban demand for making the government more of an Islamic government might end up delaying the withdrawal.
