North Korea

North Korea is suspected to have launched two ballistic missiles into sea outside the shore of Japan. The two missiles travelled over 250 miles according to US intelligence and South Korean coalition. The frequency of ballistic testing has increased recently as Russia and China warns that a peace deal needs to be made soon between Pyongyang and the US-led coalition.

Joe Biden delivered his first solo press conference of his presidency today. This was the longest it took an income president to deliver a press conference in the last 100 years. Biden’s press conference circled mainly about the crisis at the border and his new commitment to give 200 million doses of vaccines in his first 100 days. Other topics that came up were North Korea, the economy, and ending the congressional Filibuster, calling it worse than Jim Crow laws. Biden said on Friday he will make an announcement about the infrastructure bill, which is his next priority.
