Two trains collided North of Sohag in Egypt; killing at least 32 people. An additional 100 are believed to have been injured. The collision occurred due to to someone pulling the emergency brakes on one of the trains, causing a train not far behind to crash in the back of it. Minister of Health said that there will be an investigation into who and why the brakes were pulled.
Yemen
Yemeni rebels struck a fuel tank in Saudi Arabia today near the city of Jizan. The attack set ablaze to a large facility was carried out by multiple drones equipped with bombs. This is the second attack to target Saudi fuel supply in one week. This comes on the heel of Saudi Arabia announcing that it would accept a ceasefire with the rebels under the supervision of the United Nations. The Yemeni rebel leaders have already disregarded the deal as a political ploy.
Israel
Israelis might be headed to the election boxes yet again for the fifth time in just 2 years, as the results of the latest election yielded no true winner. Current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies captured 52 seats while a coalition of his opponents captured 57 seats (no clear leader is yet named). If either side cannot come to an agreement to get 61 seats of majority, the deadlock will trigger a fifth election later this year. The options for both sides is to either convince the remaining parties Yamina (7 seats) and Raam (4 seats) to try to join their side or change the support of a part from an existing bloc.
