Suez Canal

After 6 days, the large Ever Given ship blocking the Suez Canal is back afloat. Fear of disruption to the supply chain have not yet disappeared. The back log of ships and rerouting of others will likely effect the global supply of at least 10% of the world’s products. It will take several days to clear the traffic of ships hoping to enter the Suez Canal.

Mozambique 

Dozens are missing after an attack by Islamist insurgence believed to be affiliated with ISIL in Mozambique. Regional security sources say the attackers used explosives to target bank branches in the city of Palma. The Security Defense Forces of Mozambique have launched an operation to find the missing individuals and account for any of the causalities.
